Uber and Bolt will compete in London and they have both a licence valid for 15 months

Uber is not alone in the market. Today, on Tuesday, Estonia-based Bolt launced in London. Uber will also face competition from Indian rival Ola which is backed by Softbank and a start-up backed by Chinese competitor Didi Chuxing.

Bolt, which is also know as Taxify have so far 20,000 registered drivers. In addition; the French app Kapten which is often called Chauffeur Privè, has also entered the market in London. Uber have huge competition with Ola in India and CEO and founder of Bolt, Markus Villig said Uber`s monopoly i London has come to an end.

Bolt are charging drivers much less to use its platform than Uber and that will be a huge challenge for Uber. Bolt will take 15% commission while Uber will take 25% commission for most drivers.

Bolt raised $175 million in funding from Daimler last year, along with funding from Transferwise and Chinese ride-hailing app Didi Chuxing.

The competition in the market can be seen in Uber`s revenue growth which have stalled over the past year. Lyft went public in March this year and Uber will face huge competiton in the U.S market.

The Softbank-backed food delivery company DoorDash has also been a national market share leader, and Uber have launched a pilot of its free-floating bike service called Junp in London. A food-delivery service called Uber Eats.

Uber won back a 15-month licence last year and so did Bolt. Uber was banned in London in 2017 because it was found to not be a «fit and proper» operator. The car-hailing app Bolt was also banned by Transport for London in 2017 because it did not have a licence. Bolt waited 18 months for its licence and now it is valid for 15 months.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan has defended the citys right to cap the number of Uber vehicles, and hes faced a lawsuit from drivers who are claiming racial descrimination over the city`s plans to charge them a daily congestion charge.

Forget about expensive taxi rides and slow public transport and move around fast and affordably. Your driver arrives in minutes.

Strong and emotional speech from President Trump at 75th D-Day anniversary in Normandy

Another strong speech by President Trump at 75th D-Day anniversary in Normandy on Thursday. A very emotional speech and not at least; historic. I remember Bill Clinton and George Bush`s speeches but this one was very special. Not to say magic.

I have repeated myself for decades; Its all about the good people and the bad people. Thats it. The Nazi regime was a terrible terrorist regime and their goal was to take Europe, but they failed. The turning point was in Normandy in France and we can thank America for that.

They saved Europe from tyranny and gave Europe Freedom and liberty. “We pledge that our nations will for ever be strong and united,” Trump said in the speech.

This year, it is 30 years since the Tinananmen Square massacre in China were the Communist party killed its own citizens. This year, it is 75 years since the battle in Normandy in France were the people won against the terrorists.

“When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny.” What some elite people don`t understand is that the federal government is our servant, not our master!»

President Trump had a historic Royal State Dinner in Buckingham Palace with Queen Elizabeth II

President Trump had a Royal State Dinner in Buckingham Palace Ballroom on Tuesday, and it was a historic moment. He had a meeting with the greatest leader the world has known for the last six decades, plus.

A leader who doesn`t get nearly the credit she deserves for the intelligence, strenght, diplomacy, class, personal faith, and sense of duty and service she has demonstrated during her rule. The leader we are talking about is Queen Elizabeth II.

Mr Trump is in the UK for a three-day state visit, which includes the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings. He talked about the Nazis and praised the courage of the British people during World War II in his speech on Tuesday and he praised the «eternal friendship» between the UK and US.

«In the dark hour, the people of this nation showed the world what it means to be British,» Trump said, adding that their bravery ensured that the destiny of the country «remained in your own hands».

Trump ended his speech with a toast to «the eternal friendship of our people, the vitality of our nations and to the long-cherished and truly remarkable reign of Her Majesty the Queen».

The Queen praised the two countries` role in creating an assembly of international institutions that would ensure «the horrors of conflict would never be repeated». She also said the countries were celebrating an alliance which had ensured the «safety and prosperity of both our peoples for decades».

In addition, the Queen said; «I am confident our common values and shared interests will continue to unite us».

30th anniversary of the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests in China

Tiananmen Square Massacre on June 4th, 1989 remain as one of the most sensitive and most widely censored topics in China ever. Its memory is also widely associated with questioning the legitimacy of the Communist Party rule.

The Tiananmen Square protests were a student-led demonstration in Beijing in mid-1989, and it refers to the popular national movement inspired by the Beijing protests during that period, sometimes called the `89 Democracy Movement. Many of us can clearly remember the man in front of the tank.

A lot of students and many business people protested against the Communist Party because they wanted Democracy, and not a Communist, totalitarian and authoritarian Party. But the political elite didn`t listen to the people.

The protesters were forcibly suppressed after the government declared martial law and sent in the military to occupy central parts of Beijing in what became known as the Tiananmen Square Massacre.

Troops with assault rifles and tanks fired at the demonstrators trying to block the military`s advance towards Tiananmen Square. Estimates of the death toll ary from several hundres to over thousands.

Article 35 of the Constitution of the People`s Republic of China states: “Citizens of the People`s Republic of China enjoy freedom of speech, of the press, of assembly, of assossiation, of procession and of demonstration.”

Peaceful demonstrators were being labeled counter revolutionaries and terrorists who can be arrested, beaten and even killed by authorities. Dong had declared war and he expected the Chinese people to obey him. To fear him and to attack the students.

On April 26, 1989, Dongs opposition to the Democracy Movement was reprinted as an editorial in the Peoples Daily, and it was titlled; «The necessity for clear stand against turmoil.»

This is not an ordinary student movement, Dong complained. This is a well-planned plot whose real aim is to reject the Chinese Communist Party. The purpose of the students is to poison people`s minds. The whole nation must resolutely stop and oppose the students.

The protesters were not counter revolutionaries. They just wanted a reform. Not a revolution. They wanted to be allowed to exercise experience basic human rights including freedom of speech and freedom of assembly.

For all this the protesters were accused of commiting crimes.

The political elite in the Communist Party were shocked, frightened and confused. Dong expected the people to fear him and to obey him. Instead, they humiliated him. On April 27, 150, 000 protesters and 500,000 Beijing citizens took to the streets in protest against the government.

The government was shocked and ordered the students to return to their classes at once, but the students responded by demanding Democracy. Freedom of Speech. The end of corruption, and asking; “Why cant the peoples Prime Minister come out to meet with the people?”

The Movement escaleted and millions of people joined the students and supported them. The government`s efforts to stop the demonstrators have failed miserably. Ordinarly people had sided with the students.

«The Press must tell the truth» some of the posters said. «Full of lies» and.«Lying to the people,» «freedom of speech», «freedom of the press» is another one. Tens of thousands of students were crowding the streets, singing, chanting and cheering. They were singing;

Today we are blossoming

Tomorrow we are pillars of society

The Communist Party started Martial Law and crushed the Democracy Movement by military forces. China`s paramount leader Deng Xiaoping mobilized as many as 300,000 troops to Beijing.

They used the People`s Liberation Army to attack the unarmed peaceful Chinese people. It ended in a carnage and hundreds to thousands were killed and thousands wounded.

Protest leaders and pro-democracy activists was later exiled or imprisoned. Rioters was charged with violent crimes and some were executed in the following months. Some protesters were tortured. Western economic sanctions and arms embargoes on the People`s Republic of China followed.

The suppression on June 4 marked the end of a period of relative press freedom in China and media workers. Both foreign and domestic, faced hightened restrictions and punishment in the aftermath of the crackdown.

State media reports in the immediate aftermath were sympathetic to the students. As a result, those respnsible were all later removed from their posts. Some reporters were fired because they displayed sad emotions.

Editors and other staff at People`s Daily, including director Qian Liren and Editor-in-Chief Tan Wenrui, were also sacked because of reports in the paper which were sympathetic towards protesters. Several editors were arrested.

The Communist Party of China forbids discussion of the Tiananmen Square protests, and has taken measures to block or censor related information. Textbooks have little, if any, information about the protests. Film and books are banned and many newspapers shut down.

Access to media and internet resources on the subject are restricted or blocked by censors.

The people lost and the Communist Party won. Political reform halted, market reform delayed, freedom of speech restricted and media control tightened. Now, China is a totalitarian and authoritarian police state.

The state`s job of putting down dissent is made easier and more complete due to the increasingly widespread surveillance ranging from use of facial recognition technologgy, to cameras, to real ID registration, monitoring social media use, and sanctions for behaviour not acceptable to the liberal Communist regime in China.

Many countries in Europe use China as a role model.

Normandy`s D-Day landing beaches have come to symbolise universal hopes for freedom and peace, and beyond that, for reconciliation

We will never be finish with World War II and the ideology behind it. 6th June 2019 marks the start of the 75th anniversary of the D-Day Landings and the Battle of Normandy and with it, a momentous occasion to celebrate peace, liberty and reconciliation.

Nigel Farage and his supporters is one of the first to celebrate next week because they see it as a victory for democracy. They don`t like EU because it crushes democracy and take decision-making powers away from ordinary people and gives it back to unelected bureaucrats in Brussels.

On 6 June 1944 and during the long summer that followed, men from all over the world came to fight in Normandy to defeat Nazism and re-establish freedom. Normandy will bear the scars of this moment in history for ever and every year we remember and pay tribute to the veterans from America, Britain and Canada to name a few. Keep in mind that Russia also defeated the Nazis.

The Normandy landings were the landing operations on Tuesday, 6 June 1944 of the Allied invasion of Normandy in Operation Overload during World War II. Codename Operation neptune and often referred to as D-Day, it was the largest seaborne invasion in history.

The operation began the liberation of German-occupied France (and later Europe) from Nazi control, and laid the foundation of the Allied victory on the Western Front.

After the German Army invaded the Soviet Union in June 1941, the Soviet leader Joseph Stalin began pressing his new allies for the creation of a second front in western Europe. In late May 1942, the Soviet Union and the United States made a joint announcement that a «…full understanding was reached with regard to the urgent tasks of creating a second front in Europe in 1942.»

However, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill persuaded US President Franklin D. Roosvelt to postpone the promised invasion as, even with US help, the Allies did not have adequate forces for such an activity.

Instead of an immediate return to France, the western Allies staged offensives in the Mediterranean Theatre of Operations, where British troops were already stationed. By mid-1943 the campaign in North Africa had been won.

The allies then launched the invasion of Sicily in June 1943, and subsequently invaded the Italian mainland in September the same year. By then, Soviet forces were on the offensive and had won a major victory at the Battle of Stalingrad.

The descision to undertake a cross-channel invasion within the next year was taken at the Trident Conference in Washington in May 1943. Initial planning was constrained by the number of available landing craft, most of which were already committed in the Mediterranean and Pacific.

At the Tehran Conference in November 1943, Roosvelt and Churchill promised Stalin that they would open the long-delayed second front in May 1944.

Hitler and the Nazis wanted Europe, but they lost. The Allies won and took back their own countries. They celebrated freedom and liberty. Two important things Trump often talks about. He also say that nobody can take control over the United States because they want to rule their own country.

Look at Europe now. Especially after the election were the Brexit-party won big. The Global establishment are often talking about the right-wing partys like «anti-imigrants» or «far-right partys», but that description is false.

They also often put Trump in the same folder as Salvini, Farage, Le Pen and Orban. How can so many experts be wrong? The global elite are doing a big mistake; they are not listening to the voters. The elites are being rejected because they failed, and the fight has just begun. It will intensify next year.

The global elite must start to eccept the fact that the populist conservatives and economic nationalists are on the rise. Just take a look at the «Deep State» in the U.S that rose up before and after Trump`s election. They tried to take him out from the office but failed.

Its fact; the global elites have suffered from their wishful thinking since Trumps inauguration. People in the U.K voted to leave the EU and in the U.S, they voted for Trump. What do you think? Are people in the U.K and the U.S stupid? It remain to see.

On 6 June 2019 at 6pm, the official international ceremony celebrating this major anniversary will take place on Juno Beach and will be attended by many Allied Heads of State.

U.S President Donald Trump, British Prime Minister Theresa May and many other world leaders and dignitaries will all be in Normandy to mark the 75th anniversary.

The French president, Emmanuel Macron is facing criticism for refusing to attend an international ceremony at Normandy`s Juno Beach next week. Instead, he is to take charge of a ceremony in homage to French commandos and Resistance fighters who took part in the Normandy landings in 1944.

In the morning of June 6, Theresa May and Mr Macron will lay the foundation stone of the future British Normandy Memorial, commemorating the 22,442 troops under British command who died in the summper of 1944 during fierce fighting as the Allies invaded France.

Later he will join Donald Trump at the American ceremony at Colleville-sur-Mer. At Omaha Beach, Mr Macron will award the Legion of Honour, France`s highest distinction, to five American veterans aged between 94 and 100.

Louis Mexandeau who is 87 years old, is a former minister for veterans, and he said: «We had hoped that France would honour in the appropriate manner the sacrifice of tens of thousands of Allied soldiers.»

We will all honor and pay tribute to our fallen heroes. The men who landed on D-Day, leading to victory in Europe in World War II.

A rich and unprecedented programme of events will be put together to bring the memory of this tragic period of world history to life, all while emphasizing the spirit of hope. The anniversary will be commemorated with military parades, firework displays, airdrops, giant picnics, conserts and military camp re-enactments.

Normandy`s D-Day landing beaches have come to symbolise universal hopes for freedom and peace, and beyond that, for reconciliation.
