Just 32% of Americans have “great deal” or “fair amount” of trust in the media

Media are attacking President Donald Trump, but it seems like people isnt listening anymore. A Gallup poll from September found that just 32% of Americans have «great deal» or «fair amount» of trust in the media, which is the lowest level in the polls history.

Media are in trouble!

What tools do the establishment have if people dont belive media anymore? And what tools do the establishment have if people dont have faith in politicians anymore?

(RT: 26 April 2011)

You can see how media are turning things up side down. So are the politicians who have always lied. It was much more easy to lie when there where fewer media outlets. The lies was shaped and tempered by the media.

The most embarrassing lie was during the terror attack on twin towers. Former President Bush said Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, but that was a BIG lie. There were no reason to attack Iraq and people went angry because of that.

The demonstration against the war in Iraq was huge in the United States, but not only that. It is the biggest we have seen in modern history in Europe. Here is what made people pissed: The establishment didn`t listen to the people.

On top of that, people went angry at terrorists for making them feel afraid. The terrorist came as a direct result of the attack in Iraq and the killing of their leader Saddam Hussein. But it didn`t stop here. Next war was underway.

Who wrote about the war in Libya? The Media was silent like never before. We didnt hear much about it, but they bombed Libya and killed Gaddafi. People went even more angry, but it didnt stop here.

Pictures and videos from the killing of ambassador Chris Stevens who was raped and sadomized before murder made people more angry. They went crazy when they heard it took so much time before the support came to the consulate. Fox News sources said CIA in Benghazi during consulate attack denied help. Maybe Mr Stevens could be alive today?

It doesn`t help to know that the United States created al-Qaeda. It is a shame to know that ISIS is also created by the United States.

The point is that the people was against it. So are President Donald Trump. He said Saddam and Gaddafi was a big mistake. Media want us to know that Putin and Russia is dangerous, but how dangerous are they?

In 2011, Putin said: Who gave NATO right to kill Gaddafi? Who gave coalition forces in Libya the right to eliminate Gaddafi? Thats the question Vladimir Putins been asking, during an official visit to Denmark.

The Russian Premier also said NATO`s effectively joined one of the warring sides in the conflict. And more responsible action should be taken instead, Putin said.

What kind of dangerous man is saying things like that?

Take a trip to Africa and ask people about Gaddafi. They saw up to him. Gaddafi was the king of Africa. A big star. Putin didnt join NATO in Libya. He said it isnt right. Its crime, he said. They also killed Gaddafis son. What have he done? People in the West are not proud of this. They are angry.

We can see a clear picture when we know that Edward Snowden is hiding in Russia. He exposed mass surveillance by the NSA (National Security Agency). They spy on ordinary people and this is lack of people`s freedom and liberty. People are not proud of this. They are angry.

President Donald Trump like Putin who is hiding Snowden, and Putin was celebrating Trump`s victory last week.

People are not proud, and therefore, Mr Trump want to Make America great again! Good luck.

President Donald Trump are good at solving debt problems

The silent majority has spoken. Donald Trump is the next President of the United States of America. Many people are in shock, claiming that they don`t know how the future will be. Others are scared because Trump can hit the nuclear-button.

How will the world be like with Donald Trump as the next U.S President? Take a look at the video below. You will be surprised.

15 years ago, Donald Trump was against the war in Iraq. A war in Iraq will destabilize the Middle-East, he said. And he was right.

With Donald Trump at the White House 15 years ago, we wouldnt be in war with Iraq. A stupid war that gave the people a lot of terrorism in return. A war that nobody from the grassroot supported. The establishment didnt listen to the grassroot, and I think that was a big mistake.

This is exactly what Donald Trump is fighting against; the establishment. A group of arrogant people who is not listening to the majority of people. Trump also seems to like Russia and Putin. The opposite of what the establishment stands for.

We have heard NATO claiming that Putin and Russia is dangerous, but people dont belive in it. Trump and Putin doesnt like war. They like business, growth and prosperity. Productivity in the military system is productivity at the wrong place.

So, why are so many people so scared? So far, I haven`t heard one single person talk about the U.S debt. Do you really know how much debt they own? I can tell you. The debt is too much to handle. It will soon reach $20 trillion!

Personally, I have never been a fan of debt. It can kill you. Trump will start the new year with a budget deficit which is more than $500 billion and the national debt will go above $20 trillion. What a case for Trump. A man who is familiar with debt.

Social Security hold about $5 trillion of this debt, and less than $15 trillion in public hands. The interest rate is still below 2% with a net interest cost of $223 billion in 2015. The federal budget for this fiscal year is about $4 trillion, and the debt will continue to grow.

The U.S is growing faster than the European Union. What if the GDP in the U.S will grow faster than 3%, and what if Trump start tax relief programs?

If the U.S pay more than $300 billion in interest, it will jump to about $500 billion if the interest rate on the U.S debt jumps from 2% to 3%. The more interest rate jumps, the more interest cost jumps. How in the world are they gonna stop the debt?

Trump can be the solution.

Trump`s hotel and casino businesses have declared bankruptcy five times between 1991 and 2014. The reason for the first four bankruptcies were over-leveraged hotel and casino businesses in Atlanta City.

According to a report by Forbes in 2011, Trump said: «Ive used the laws of this country to pare debt..... well have the company. Well throw it into a chapter. Well negotiate with the banks. Well make a fantastic deal. You know, its like on The Apprentice. Its not personal. Its just business.»

Donald Trump solved his own business debt by negotiations. Will it be easy for him to do the same with the U.S debt? In the video above, Trump said that politicians just talk without any actions. America needs a strong leader, he said.

Now, it is up to Mr Donald Trump himself to do something. To get some action. People voted for him because he is an outsider. They voted for him because they belive that he can handle the economy, taxes and create jobs better than Hillary Clinton. He is not only an outsider, but also a businessman. Not a politician.

Trump once said: «We owe $19 trillion. Boy, am I good at solving debt problems. Nobody can solve it like me.

YouTube is dominant in the music streaming market and a new case for the European Commission

Consumer behaviour is very important for the music industry and a new research by IFPI contains key findings on changing consumer behaviour and provides valuable insights on the «value gap», which is the music industry`s most pressing priority.

«The value gap» is the massive mismatch between the growing consumption of music worldwide and the disproportionately small revenues that are returned to rights holders. It is caused by a market distortion allowing some major digital services to circumvent the normal rules of music licensing.

This denies musicians, artists, composers and investors fair compensation for their work; lowers investment in and diversity of new music; and skews competition among digital services. IFPI sees today`s proposal as a good first step in the process.

musicstreaming

Notably, the proposal confirms that user uploaded content services that promote and monetize music should be covered by the same copyright rules as other on-demand services.

Commenting on the proposal, IFPI Chief Executive, Frances Moore said:

«The music industry has transformed itself in recent years, licensing hundreds of services, widening choices for consumers and investing in new, creative ways to bring artists to a global audience.

But to achieve sustainable growth, the music sector needs a level playing field.

This means creating an environment where copyright rules are correctly applied so that creators and producers can be confident to invest and license. It also means allowing digital services to compete on fair terms and enabling consumers to enjoy access to diverse sources of licensed music.

«Today`s proposal is a good first step towards creating a better and fairer licensing environment in Europe. Importantly, it confirms that user uploaded content services such as YouTube, which are the largest source of on-demand music, should not be able to operate outside normal licensing rules.

However, there is a lot more to do to make this a workable proposal. We look forward to working on this in the coming months with the Parliament and Member States.»

The music consumer behaviour is changing, and this is the key report highlights:

  • Paid audio streaming is growing: 71% of internet users aged 16-64 access licensed music. Paid audio streaming services are growing in popularity, especially among under 25`s. One-third of 16-24 year old now pay for an audio streaming service.
  • YouTube is the most used music service: 82% of all YouTube visitors use it for music. More people use YouTube to consume music they already know than to discover new content.
  • Copyright infringement remains a significant problem: more than one-third (35%) of internet users access unlicensed music content. infringement is changing, with half (49%) of 16-24 year olds using stream ripping services to download music.
  • Young people are highly engaged with music: with 82% of 13-15 year-old listening to licensed music and the majority willing to pay for music.
  • Smartphones are moving towards replacing computers as the most used device for music consumption; especially in developing countries. Users of paid audio streaming services are particularly likely to listen to music on a smart phone.

Commenting on the report, Frances Moore, CEO, IFPI said:

«There are many positives for the music industry in this research: streaming services have revolutionised the experience of the music consumer, with growing numbers paying for audio streaming services;

listeners are responding to the benefits offered by on-the-go, on-demand access to music by moving more and more to the world of mobile, especially in emerging markets; and young fans are showing passion and engagement with music.

«Record companies, and the investment they make in music, are at the heart of this change. That investment is all the more important in the digital world, driving the creation of new music and helping artists connect with their fans.

«There are also key insights informing the policy debate on musics «value gap», the biggest problem for todays music sector. The research highlights the dominant position amongst music services of YouTube, as well as the fact that the site is used by consumers primarily to access music they know, on-demand.

Yet YouTube can get away without remunerating fairly artists and producers by hiding behind ‘safe harbour’ laws that were never designed for services that actively engage with and make available music enjoyed by the vast majority of its users.»

YouTube use a loophole in international copyright laws. The pay much lower licensing fees the music industry than services such as Spotify and Apple Music. YouTube considers itself a hosting platform rather than a content distributing platform.

This is a practice that has repeatedly been dismissed as unfair by record companies and competitors. YouTube say it is mostly a promotional platform for artists and record companies.

Spotify is twice as big as Apple Music. Spotify has 40 million paid subscribers, while Apple music has «only» 4 million. Spotify has 100 million of total listeners while Apple Music has 78 million.

To put that in perspective; YouTube doesn`t have any paid subscribers, but they are more than 8 times bigger than Spotify with its listeners.

Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) stands for 47% of world GDP

G 20 summit in China this weekend will be interesting for those who follow international trade. Leaders will talk about the slowing global trade and their shipping companies. On top of that we see signs of protectionism.

I wrote about Trance Pacific Partnership (TPP) i April last year, and what we know so far is that President Obama is hoping to get the deal through Congress before he leaves office. The time is running out.

TTIP-FOLDER

The world leaders has a lot to talk about as the global trade is in trouble because of the rising protectionism, which is a growing trend that is a huge challenge to world leaders. China has benefited from the global trade so far, but the protectionism is a big threat right now.

The TPP agreement was signed in February, but it has to be ratified by all twelve counties and Obama belive in the deal. Hillary Clinton have spoken out against it, and Donald Trump called TPP «an attack on America`s business.»

The typical protectionist rhetoric is typified by Donald Trump, and China faces huge criticism from both Europe and the U.S over the flood of steel and other raw materials it has unleashed on global markets.

People are dealing like never before and the free trade in Western nations has already put two deals on the table which is giving the G 20 leaders something to think hard about. One of them is the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), and the other one is Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).

TTIP stands for $34,2 trillion which is 47% of world GDP!

The agreement «will help unlock opportunity for American families, workers, businesses, farmers and ranchers through increased access to European markets,» the U.S government says. The European Commission says it would be worth €545 to each European citizen every year.

Many people are angry because the meetings are being held in top-secret.

TPP stands for $27,4 trillion which is 37% of world GDP.

The U.S and 11 other nations like Japan, Mexico, Singapore and Vietnam are involved. Nobel Prize winner Stiglitz called TPP outrageous, and other economists say that this agreement will boost income in the participating countries. Others say it will lift exports and support well paid jobs.

Other people are against those deals. They claim the deal will kill jobs and worsen income inequality across the nations. They argue it will only help big corporations and not ordinary citizens. The advocates of trade said it was going to benefit everyone.

The evidence is it`s benefited a few and left a lot behind, the Nobel laureate economist, Joseph Stiglitz said.
