In a time of Roman Empire, Nero is determined to rid Rome of Christians, which is similar to what we experience today

Easter is just around the corner. A festival and holiday that is celebrating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, described in the New Testament as having occurred on the third day of his burial after his crucifixion by the Romans at Calvary c 30 AD.

The New Testament states that the resurrection of Jesus, which Easter celebrates, is a foundation of the Christian faith. The resurrection established Jesus as the powerful Son of God, and is cited as proof that God will judge the world in righteousness.

Most Christians refer to the week before Easter as «Holy Week». This time, a new film called Paul, Apostle of Christ will be released the same week. This film is an upcoming American biblical drama film written by Andrew Hyatt, and starring James Faulkner as Saint Paul and Jim Caviezel as Saint Luke. What happened at that time in a time of a Roman Empire, is similar to whats happening today.

Paul, Apostle of Christ is the story of two men. Luke as a friend and physician, risks his life when he venture into the city of Rome to visit Paul, who is held captive in Nero`s darkest, bleakest prison cell.

But Nero is determined to rid Rome of Christians, and does not flinch from executing them in the grisliest ways possible.

Before Paul`s death sentence can be enacted. Luke resolves to write another book, one that details the beginnings of «The Way» and the birth of what will come to be known as the church.

Bound in chains, Paul`s struggle is internal. He has survived so much, floggings, shipwreck, starvation, stoning, hunger and thirst, cold and exposure, yet as he waits for his appointment with death, he is haunted by the shadows of his past misdeeds.

Alone in the dark, he wonders if he has been forgotten…. and if he has the strength to finish well.

Two men struggle against a determined emperor and the frailties of the human spirit in order to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ and spread their message to the world.

Their faith challenged an Empire. Their words changed the world.

It is a war between the good and the bad, and whats make people angry is Lucifer.  Jim Caviezel said in a speech earlier this year that he want Lucifer to go back to hell were he belongs.

Lucifer is a controversial angel who some belive is the most evil living being in the universe. Lucifer (the devil) is a metaphor for evil and deceit, and he leads other demons in hell and works to harm human beings.

As the ultimate liar, Lucifer (whose name changed to Satan after his fall) twists spiritual truth with the goal of leading as many people as possible away from God. Many people say that the fallen angels` work has brought only evil and destructive results in the world.

Paul, Apostle of Christ, In theaters March 23, 2018.

Smartphone apps with a new navigation system was a big disrupter for Garmin

Garmin Ltc is a classic innovative company that met competiton. They were early out with its awesome GPS navigation and wireless devices and applications. I can`t remember how many Garmin devices I have bought to use in my car, but it is many.

Garmin`s in-car GPS navigation was so useful about ten years ago. I used the system nearly every day, but unfortunately, everything comes to an end. So is it for Garmin. All of my old devices took the trip to the garbage, and the stock price followed the market trend.

Garmins old GPS devices is out, and now weve got portable navigation devices (PNDs), in-dash GPS systems, and GPS enabled smartphones. What you need about GPS is already installed in a Tesla for instance. So is it for many other cars.

You got voice-enabled navigation as the average PND price are getting lower and lower. So is it for the apps that is available on the smartphones. Google`s system Android and the smartphones on that system comes with free Google Maps with driving direction.

The smart phone apps was a big disruptor for Garmins business. A company that flooded the market by the mid-2000s with standalone GPS devices along with their competitors like Mio, TomTom, Magellen, Navigon and others.

The first ever GPS navigation system for a vehicle was GMs Guidestar system for the 1995 Oldsmobile Eighty Eight, and two of the most famous early models are Fords Microsoft-based Sync, and BMW`s iDrive.

Garmin ran some form of proprietary software on top of a readily available OS like Embedded Linux or Windows Embedded CE. Now, some of their models are sold for under $100. The cell phone apps killed the business.

The market have changed, and the most important changes over time relate to map data and the POI (point-of-interest) database. The most attractive and well-integrated are the new In-car navigation systems.

Manufacturers like QNX which supplies the underlying GPS systems for many of today`s auto companies are working to improve the system. So are open-source software like Linux and HTML5 code. They are all coming into play.

Microsoft has developed their own tech demo: A Windows 8-powered Ford mustang with integrated Microsoft Kinect, an Xbox 360, 4G LTE, smart phone connectivity, and several built-in projectors and cameras for use inside and outside the vehicle.

Garmin operates through five segments. It offers a range of auto navigation products, as well as a range of products and applications designed for the mobile GPS market. It offers products to consumers around the world, including Outdoor handhelds, Wearable devices, Golf devices, and dog tracking and training/pet obedience devices.

Garmin`s market cap is 12,23B, and the company is expected to report earnings on Wednesday 21, before market open. The report will be for the fiscal Quarter ending December 2017, and earnings forecast for the quarter is $0,75.

Political Correctness are intended to avoid offence or disadvantage to members of particular groups in society

Political correctness is used to describe language, policies, or measures that are intended to avoid offence or disadvantage to members of particular groups in society. Since the late 1980`s, the term has come to refer to avoiding language or behavior that can be seen as excluding, marginalizing, or insulting groups of people considered disadvantaged or discriminated against, especially groups defined by sex or race. In public discourse and the media, it is generally used as a pejorative, implying that these policies are excessive.

The phrase was widely used in the debate about Allan Blooms 1987 book «The closing of the American Mind», and gained further currency in response to Roger Kimballs «Tenured Radicals (1990), and conservative author Dinesh DSouzas 1991 book Illiberal Education, in which he condemned what he saw as liberal efforts to advance self-victimization and multiculturalism through language, affirmative action, and changes to the content of school and university curricula.

Commentators on the left contend that conservatives use the concept of political correctness to downplay and divert attention from substantively discriminatory behavior against disadvantaged groups.

They also argue that the right enforces its own forms of political correctness to suppress criticism of its favored constituencies and ideologies. The term has played a major role in the United States culture war between liberals and conservatives.

In 1793, the term «political correct» appeared in the U.S Supreme Court judgement of a political lawsuit. The term also had use in other English-speaking countries in the 1800`s. The term probably interned use in the United Kingdom around 1975.

In the early to mid 20th century, the phrase «political correct» was used to describe strict adherence to a range of ideological orthodoxies. In 1934, the New York Times reported that Nazi Germany was granting reporting permits «only to pure Aryans whose opinions are politically correct.»

As marxist-Leninist movements gained political power, the phrase came to be associated with accusations of dogmatic application of doctrine, in debates between American Communists and American Socialists.

This usage referred to the Communist party line which, in the eyes of the Socialists, provided «correct» positions on all political matters.

According to American educator Herbert Kohl, writing about debates in New York in the late 1940s and early 1950s,

«The term «political correct» was used disparagingly, to refer to someone whose loyalty to the CP line overrode compassion, and led to bad politics. It was used by Socialists against Communists, and was meant to separate out Socialists who believed in egalitarian moral ideas from dogmatic Communists who would advocate and defend party positions regardless of their moral substance.»

World Economic Forum`s motto is “Committed to improving the state of the world,” and President Trump will attend

Every year at the end of January, it is time for World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos. The forum was founded in 1971 by Klaus Schwab. A German-born business professor at the University of Geneva. First named the “European Management Forum”, and then it changed its name to the World Economic Forum in 1987.

Its mission is cited as “committed to improve the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic, and other leaders of society to shape global, regional, and industry agendas”. President Trump is a business man and he will join the elite at the forum in Davos this time.

The meeting at Davos is synonymous with wealth and elite prestige and Presidents have therefore been concerned to participate because it would send wrong signals. Mr Trump will be the fist sitting President since Bill Clinton in 2000 to attend. Mr Trump is a business man and have an agenda. A message.

That being said; don`t forget the forums motto: “Committed to improving the state of the world.”

Mr Trump is finish with his first year as a President at the White House, and so far he has done a lot of good things, not only for the USA, but also for the rest of the world. But this is only the beginning.

The meeting in Davos brings together some 2,500 top business leaders, international political leaders, economists, and journalists for up to four days to discuss the most pressing issues facing the world.

But Trump`s agenda is not to make the world great again, but the USA. He will also try to sell his «America first» agenda to the world leaders. It is not difficult to understand that he also want to promote his policies to strengthen American businesses, their industry and their workers.

What Trump is doing in the U.S will also affect the rest of the world. For instance, a corporate tax cut in the U.S will also affect other countries. For all I know, maybe other countries will follow his strategy and cut the taxes as well.

Trump is also a great negotiator and he told Stoltenberg at NATO to pay the bills to the U.S Navy, and you know what; they did. This is brilliant. He is making USA more safe, but also NATO members and the European Union more safe.

I think Mr Trump will try to sell his economic growth agenda on the world stage and speak with the World Bank and the IMF, and I really look forward to his speech. It can be full of surprises. His administration said that Trump`s delegation to Davos will be large.

Mr Trump recognized Jerusalem as Israels capital. That can also be an issue if you think of the forums motto: “Committed to improving the state of the world.” We have seen this before.

At the 1994 annual meeting, Israeli Foreign Minister Shimon Peres and PLO chairman Yasser Arafat reached a draft agreement on Gaza and Jerico. Two years earlier, South African President F.W de Klerk met with Nelson Mandela and Chief Mangosuthu Buthelezi, which was the first joint appearance outside South Africa.

North Korea was invited to Davos in 2016, “in view of positive signs coming out of the country,” the WEF noted. North Korea has not been attending the WEF since 1998. The invitation was accepted but after their nuclear test on January 6, 2016 (only days before the meeting), the invitation was revoked.

North Korea`s delegation was made subject to “existing and possible forthcoming sanctions.”

The country protested and called the decision by the WEF managing board a “sudden and irresponsible” move, but the WEF committee maintained the exclusion because under these circumstances there would be no opportunity for international dialogue.

Last year, a head of state from the People`s Republic of China was invited to the alpine resort. With the backdrop of Brexit, an incoming protectionist US administration and significant pressure on free trade zones and trade agreements, President Xi Jinping defended the global economic scheme, and portrayed China as a responsible nation and a leader for environmental causes.

President Xi Jinping rebuked the current populist movements that would introduce tariffs and hinder global commerce, warning that such protectionism could foster isolation and reduced economic opportunity. This is still a hot potato.

Two year ago, the forum announced the opening of its new Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution in San Francisco. They said the center will “serve as a platform for interaction, insight and impact on the scientific and technological changes that are changing the way we live, work and relate to one another.” Great news at that time.

What about the crypto currency revolution? The cryptobank boom? All this decentralized coins and banking industry with tokens and their «smart contracts» that is flooding the market. Will the world leaders talk about it, and will the central banks answer with a centralized version in the future?
