President Emmanual Macron criticized President Donald Trump for being a Nationalist but should take a lesson from him

French President Emmanuel Macron criticized the U.S President Donald Trump a few weeks ago. Macron said Trump was a Nationalist, and Mainstream Media (MSM) followed up to say that Hitler was also a Nationalist. Wow, what a comparison.

What journalists in the MSM is not telling people is that even Mahatma Ghandi was a Nationalist. The National Movement in India and the role of Mahatma Ghandi and Non-Violence is an example. Employing nonviolent nationalist movements as his weapon, Ghandii stirred Indian men and woman to «fight» for independence without shedding blood. But Ghandi was also a populist. Just like Trump.

Ghandi considered himself one, and his mission was primarily the establishment of a free, independent, culturally distinct Indian nation. He used to say that “nonviolent nationalism is a necessary condition of corporate or civilized life.” (As opposed to violent nationalism).

In the book “Autobigraphy of a Yogi” the writer, Paramahansa Yogananda, quotes Ghandi`s own words on nationalism:

“I call myself a nationalist but my natioanlism is as wide as the universe; it embraces all nations. My nationalism includes the prosperity of all nations. I do not want my India to raise on from the ashes of other nations. I do not want India to ever exploit any human. I want a strong India able to transfuse its strength to other nations.Today, none of the European countries does this; they do not transfer power to other nations.”

Ghandi was also a populist. Who know that? Populist rule is bad for democracy, but despite that, we can see that populists are being voted into office in country after country. Narendra Modi win elections when the institutionalized ties between non-populist parties and voters decay.

But there is a big difference between the populism we see outside of the U.S than inside. Trumps populism is good populism while many of the other populists are bad. Trumps plan is “America First,” and that`s why he is cutting taxes, made a lot of reforms and negotiated better trade deals.

There is no doubt that European Union is important, but at what cost? Take a look at President Macron. The man who talked about Trump`s Nationalism in his speech while MSM followed up with Nazi stories.

But who is in real trouble here? Rebels in Paris blasts Mr Macron for his gas tax hikes. The opposite of what Trump did. He cuted the taxes and the U.S economy is booming. The U.S unemployment is low while it remain high in France.

This is not the fist time I`m writing about the protesters in France. This is something that has been going on for years and decades. France need to do something to make a change, but do Macron have something to learn from Trump? It remains to see.

But it seems like Macron is doing the opposite of Trump who are a Nationalist and a Patriot. Trumpis doing what he can to protect his own citizens. Its all about "America First" and he wants to Make America Great again. Whats wrong with that?

President Macron is a part of the European Union which is driven by faceless bureaucrats. A collaboration the United Kingdom wants to leave. A collaboration that communist Jeremy Corbyn want to join again. Done by a second referendum.

But Paris rioters steal police rifle and torch cars while they are protesting fuel taxes, but the demonstrations are also an indication of growing animosity toward Macron. President Trump is on his own people`s side but President Macron seems to be against his own people with bad decisions.

People in France believe that Macron is serving the interest of the EU and not the French workers. A President should represent the people, “We the People,” but the French protest movement, known as jilets jaunes (yellow vests), are protesting against its own President and the state of France`s economy as well.

President Macrons popularity is low and will be so for quite some time, because he has given no indication he will bend to the peoples demand. This will give Macron`s political competitors like Marine Le Pen a huge advantage.

Swedish prime minister Olof Palme was a Democratic socialist and talked about immigration in 1965

Swedish prime minister Olof Palme was murdered on February 28, 1986. A few years earlier, on December 25, 1965, he gave a national radio speech on the subject of immigration. His words are more relevant today than ever before.

Olof Palme said: We respect the fundamental rights and freedoms. Turbid racial theories have never gained foothold. Prejudice is always rooted in everyday life. It grows in the workplace and in the neighbourhood.

It gives went to ones own failures and disappointments. Above all, it is an expression of ignorance and fear. Ignorance regarding other people`s uniqueness. Fear of losing a position, a social privilege, a prior right.

Of course, skin colour, race, language and birthplace have nothing to do with human qualities. To grade people using such a yardstick is in glaring conflict with principles of human equality. But it is shamefully simple to make use of for the one who feels inferior.

Olof Palme was a Democratic socialist with pride and joy. He became one when he traveled around India and saw the terrible poverty, even though some were tremendously rich. At the same time, he also saw an even more degrading poverty in the U.S.

When he, as a young boy, stood eye to eye with communism`s lack of freedom and oppression and human persecution in the communist states, and when he went to the Nazi`s concentration camps and saw the death records of social democrats and union members, he became a Democratic socialist.

He said in a speech that he was strengthened in his conviction when he saw the right-wing politics, in country after country, expel people to unemployment and ruin their sense of security. Our solidarity becomes weaker and egoism stronger. It is about solidarity and consideration among people, he said.

May Olof Palme rest in peace, but his message live on…….

India is the leader

India added 28 million users in mobile subscriptions in Q1 ended March this year. According to Ericsson`s Mobility report, the total base is now 790 million. Among the top five countries by net additions, India is the leader, accounted for more than 50% of new mobile subscriptions in Q1.

Ericsson expect that the total number of mobile subscriptions will exceed the world`s population in 2015. By the end of 2019, they predict that the mobile broadband subscriptions will reach 7,6 billion, representing more than 80% of total mobile subscriptions.

It is also expected that the number of smart phone subscriptions will reach 5,6 billion at the end of 2019. 65% of all phones sold worldwide in Q1 were smartphones. Smartphone subscriptions will exceed those for basic phones in a couple of years.

India is growing! So are the smart phone sales. It skyrocketed in 2013 and 44 million shipments is a big jump compared with 16,2 million a year earlier. The growth is expected to continue in 2014. The Indian consumer is expected to consume four times the amount of mobile data per month, contributing to the 10-fold growth prediction in mobile data traffic between 2013 and 2019.

It’s expected to see a shift in 2016, as the networks will go from GSM to 3G and 4G, and that will help cellular Machine-to-Machine (M2M) devices to grow significantly. 3G and 4G will represent the majority of active cellular M2M subscriptions in a few years.

Cellular M2M is taking off, and the number of active cellular M2M devices will increase to about 4 times by 2019, from 200 million at the end of last year to about 800 million in 2019. It is expected to see more than 20% of the active cellular M2M devices to be connected to LTE subscriptions.

In 2019, China will reach over 700 million LTE subscriptions, and that is more than 25% of total global subscriptions for LTE. Europe will only see LTE subscriptions penetration of 30% compared to 85% in North America.

China`s TCL Communication is preparing to launch 4G phablets in a tie up with Reliance Jio Infocomm, which is likely to roll out its much-awaited high-speed data and voice services in Q2 this year.

TCL Communication is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and part of China`s TCL Corporation. They sell smartphones under Alcatel One Touch brand. The Chinese company bought the Alcatel phone business in 2005. A phablet is a mobile handset with 5 to 6,9 inch screen size.

Market update

Investors are not so patient, and Putin is not patient either. He told Obama to try to find a solution on the budget crises as soon as possible. Investors are tolking to Obama thru VIX. It`s going up as we now are in the second week with the shutdown. Gold is now at $1321, and it seems like investors are sitting on their hands now.

Russian President Putin warned Presiden Obama to solve the debt/budget crises as soon as possible. Many investors are now very nervous as we are in the second week with no solution on the budget crises.

The markets was up on friday, down again on monday. It goes a little bit up, and a little bit down. In sum, it goes sideways. So far. Investors are waiting for october 17. That date will be a date we will remember in the future I think.

December Comex gold was last up $13.80 at $1,323.80 an ounce. Spot gold was up $12.50 at $1324.25. A weak dollar were bullish for the gold yesterday as it rose up with good gains. As the markets go down, and the fear goes up, the safe-heaven precious metal goes up.

The world`s largest economy China will be back from it`s Golden Week holiday season, and that could increase the demand for the yellow metal. The holiday for India starts very soon, and that can affect the gold prices with the consumer spending in India.

We can`t get any U.S economic data because of the shutdown. The FOMC minutes will be launched on wednesday and other people from the Fed officials will be speaking later on this week. Investors will scrutinize every word they say and that will have a huge impact of the financial markets.

The U.S Treasury Department told the U.S government on thursday last week that default would damage the confidence to the U.S economy and in addition increase the government`s borrowing costs.

A default could allow rating agencies to downgrade the U.S debt, which in return can impact the Treasury market. It can affect the price of Treasury bonds and notes, and if they are used to hedge in commodity markets, then the investors need to pay more money. The American bonds are used as collateral by futures commission merchants. That`s why the commodity markets can be hit in a ripple effect.

Below you will see the new $100 bill. It`s the first redesign since 1996 with better security and harder to forge. Nice!
