Conservatives in Europe and the United States must fight together to “reconquer” institutions in Washington and Brussels from liberals who threaten Western civilization ahead of votes in 2024

We all know that the EU is very often attacking Victor Orban and Hungary. There are a lot of things they don`t like about Orban and his conservative country. But there are also a lot of things that Orban doesn`t like about the EU and Western Europe. He talked about it in Europe`s first Cpac-speech.

Victor Orban formed his fifth conservative, Christian government in Hungary about a month ago, and a couple of days ago, he had a speech at Cpac (Conservative Political Action Conference) Hungary, where he talked about the value of the West and its future.

Orban defeated the communist regime, the liberals, and then, most recently, the international liberal left when they combined their forces against Hungary in the election. In the speech (see transcript below) Orban explained how they defeated them for the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth time, but also how they will defeat them again.

He also talked about how Hungary became a bastion of conservative and Christian values in Europe.

The problem in both America and Western Europe, Orban said, is the domination of public life by progressive liberals. The problem is the fact that they hold the most important positions in the most important institutions, that they occupy the dominant positions in the media, and that they produce all the politically indoctrinating works of high and mass culture.

They, the progressive left, tell us what is the truth and what is not, what is right and what is wrong, Orban said. And as conservatives, our lot is to feel about our nation’s public life as String felt in New York; like a «legal alien».

This was also the situation in Hungary, Orban added. Thirty years ago, the left was also in power here, and there was even a communist dictatorship.

The entire machinery of the state worked to entrench the power of the communists. Strange as it may sound, we – and I – grew up in a “woke world”. Only back then critical race theory was called “scientific socialism”, and was taught at university in the same way that woke is taught in your country. Everyday socialist dictatorship: that is what we grew up in. Political correctness, Orwellian Newspeak, state control of the public square, expropriation of private property, and stigmatization of the Right, Orban said.

In the ’80s, Orban wanted a change, and they decided that enough was enough. They wanted to regain Hungary and their freedom., but the communists did not let this pass without response: police attacks, bans, wiretaps, infiltration by state agents, threats, and blackmail.

But Orban and his friends persevered and won. Soviets out, communists down.

They thought they had finally got what they wanted, but they were wrong: under the dictatorship liberals and conservatives entered into an anti-communist pact, but at the first subsequent opportunity, the liberals sided with the communists. It turned out that in fact, they were natural allies.

If I am not mistaken, this kind of sinful covenant has also been seen in the United States. Summa summarum, public life after the first election (in Hungary after communism) was dominated by post-communists, liberals, and progressives, and the Hungarian right was floored.

When my friend Donald Trump won the US presidential election in 2016, one of his main promises was about the need to «drain the swamp».

President Trump has undeniable merits, but nevertheless, he was not re-elected in 2020. He ended up like our first conservative, Christian government in 2002: we governed outstandingly, after so many years I can perhaps indulge in that much immodesty, but we were dragged down by the swamp of the Hungarian left, Orban said.

And then, between 2002 and 2010, we saw what generally happens in such circumstances: the socialists spent the people`s money. Hungary sank into debt, the economy fell into recession, inflation ran out of control, unemployment rose and people were unable to pay their bills.

Street violence broke out and paramilitary groups were on the march. It was a long time ago, but let us not forget strings of ethnically-motivated murders outraged public sentiment. The left had cut back spending on the police so much that they were unable to maintain even the pretense of order, with the law protecting perpetrators rather than victims.

I think you have seen the likes of this, Victor Orban added. They have made a twelve point formula for Hungary, and you can read more about them in Orban`s speech below:

Speech by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán at the opening of CPAC Hungary

19 May 2022, Budapest

Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear American Friends, and Conservatives from all over the world,

I welcome you all. And a special welcome to my friend Václav Klaus. It is no surprise that he is the most intellectually courageous man in Europe, as he is rich in years; but what is a surprise to us all is that he is still the most youthful and the freshest among us. Dear Klaus, thank you so much for coming and being with us.

I know that you all deserve a better speech than this, but we all know that one cannot swim or run a world record time in the morning. Please bear this in mind as you listen to my thoughts. Anyway, it is great to have you here. The timing is a happy accident: a month ago we scored our fourth election victory in a row, and four days ago I formed my fifth conservative, Christian government; and now I am here with you. It is always good to be able to talk among friends, and it is especially good to have something with which to back up one’s words, and we Hungarians rightly feel that we have something with which to back up our words.

My Friends,

We have come a long way. In the 1980s we read about what was happening in the United States from samizdats illegally distributed in the former Eastern Bloc; and now here we are, with Hungary hosting the most important political gathering of the Republican Party, the Grand Old Party. I clearly remember well how we envied you back then: we envied your culture of democratic debate; the freedom in which you arranged public affairs in America; we envied your President Reagan for his charisma, his drive, his wit, and his policies – and, of course, we rooted for him. All we had were the grey-suited communist functionaries and their political Newspeak, a stifling atmosphere, and hopelessness.

Dear American Friends,

If you have seen the series “Chernobyl”, you may have an idea of what I am talking about. We had forty long years of that. And today we are hosting this great event, for which I would like to thank the organizers – but most of all you, who are honoring us with your presence. On behalf of every Hungarian, I thank our American friends and those from other countries for honoring us and coming here to Budapest.

How can I contribute to today’s gathering? Perhaps if I tell you how we won: how we first defeated the communist regime; then how we defeated the liberals; and then, most recently, how we defeated the international liberal left when they combined their forces against Hungary in the election. I will tell you now how we defeated them for the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth time – and how we will defeat them again. As the supporters of Fradi [Ferencváros soccer club] chant: “More, more, more, there’s still more goals to score!” I will tell you how fervent university students succeeded in dismantling a dictatorship, then in breaking the hegemony over opinions enjoyed by the returning communists and liberals, and how they managed to end the dominance of progressives in public life. I will tell you how Hungary became a bastion of conservative and Christian values in Europe. Instead of my long speech, of course, all this could be done briefly and simply. We learned from General Patton that battle brings out all that is best and removes all that is base. This is also true on the political battlefield. Here, my friends, only the best remain standing – or, in short, the ultimate condition for victory is that we must become the best. You can win if you are the best.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Let us start by saying that you politicians who love your country face a problem that we Hungarians have already tackled successfully. This problem – if I am not mistaken, both in America and Western Europe – is the domination of public life by progressive liberals. The problem is the fact that they hold the most important positions in the most important institutions, that they occupy the dominant positions in the media, and that they produce all the politically indoctrinating works of high and mass culture. They – the progressive left – tell us what is the truth and what is not, what is right and what is wrong. And as conservatives, our lot is to feel about our nation’s public life as Sting felt in New York: like a “legal alien”.

Dear American Friends,

This was also the situation in Hungary. Thirty years ago, the Left was also in power here – and there was even a communist dictatorship. Political correctness, Orwellian Newspeak, state control of the public square, expropriation of private property, and stigmatization of the Right.

Dear American Friends and Visitors from Abroad,

Under communism, we had a joke about whether it was possible to joke under communism. And the joke was that a political joke contest was held in the Soviet Union, with the following conditions: the contestant coming third would win an all-inclusive trip to Siberia for two weeks, the runner-up for a year, and the winner for life.

American Friends,

If you feel that this joke is becoming ever more meaningful to you, the time has come to start taking action. At all events, we rose up, and in the late 1980s, we decided that enough was enough. We wanted to regain our country and our freedom; we wanted to regain our country’s freedom. The communists did not let this pass without response: police attacks, bans, wiretaps, infiltration by state agents, threats, and blackmail. But we persevered, and we won. Soviets out, communists down. We thought we had finally got what we wanted, but we were wrong: under the dictatorship liberals and conservatives entered into an anti-communist pact, but at the first subsequent opportunity, the liberals sided with the communists. It turned out that in fact, they were natural allies. If I am not mistaken, this kind of sinful covenant has also been seen in the United States. Summa summarum, public life after the first election [in Hungary after communism] was dominated by post-communists, liberals, and progressives, and the Hungarian right was floored. When my friend Donald Trump won the US presidential election in 2016, one of his main promises was about the need to “drain the swamp”. President Trump has undeniable merits, but nevertheless, he was not re-elected in 2020. He ended up like our first conservative, Christian government in 2002: we governed outstandingly – after so many years I can perhaps indulge in that much immodesty – but we were dragged down by the swamp of the Hungarian left.

And then, between 2002 and 2010, we saw what generally happens in such circumstances: the socialists spent the people’s money. Hungary sank into debt, the economy fell into recession, inflation ran out of control, unemployment rose and people were unable to pay their bills. Street violence broke out and paramilitary groups were on the march. It was a long time ago, but let us not forget: strings of ethnically-motivated murders outraged public sentiment. The Left had cut back spending on the police so much that they were unable to maintain even the pretense of order, with the law protecting perpetrators rather than victims.

Dear American Friends,

I think you have seen the likes of this. The Scriptures say the following: “every tree is known by its own fruit.” Well, the fruit of progressive government speaks for itself: economic ruin and street violence. When a left-wing government comes to power, the story almost always ends in the same way. But, dear Friends, in 2002 we organized a popular movement and intellectual resistance with the troops left to us after our electoral defeat. We did not adopt a defensive attitude, and we did not resign ourselves to our minority status; we played to win and proclaimed the Reconquista.

Dear Friends,

The plan succeeded. In 2010 we came back. We had worked for eight years: step by step, brick by brick, we had fought and we had built. The formula is complete. Hungary is the laboratory in which we tested the antidote to dominance by progressives. We have hung up our lab coats, this spring Hungary has received its fourth dose, and I can report the following: the patient has been completely cured. The medication is open-source, free of charge, and comprises twelve points – which I will share with you now. For the benefit of our foreign friends, twelve is the Hungarian freedom fighters’ lucky number.

The first point in the Hungarian formula is to play by our own rules. The only way to win is to refuse to accept the solutions and the paths offered by others. As Churchill said, having enemies is a sure sign that you are doing something right. This is why we should not be discouraged by being defamed, by being branded as deplorable, or by being treated abroad like troublemakers. In fact, it would be suspicious if none of this happened. Please remember that those who play by their opponents’ rules are certain to lose.

The second point: is national conservatism in domestic politics. The cause of the nation is not a matter of ideology, nor even of tradition. The reason that churches and families must be supported is that they are the building blocks of the nation. This also means that one must remain on the side of the voters. We decided to stop migration and build the wall on our southern border because Hungarians said that they did not want illegal immigrants. They said: “Viktor, build that wall!” Three months later the border barrier was up. The secret is not to overthink things: the Hungarian fence is a simple chain-link structure with motion detectors, watchtowers, and cameras; but this is enough, provided people want to protect their country. The Achilles heel of progressives is precisely that they want to impose their dreams on society. But for us, that danger is also an opportunity, because when it comes to important issues, in reality, people do not like left-wing fever dreams. One must find the issues on which the Left is completely out of touch with reality and highlight them – but in a way that can be understood by people who are not eggheads.

Third point: the national interest in foreign policy. Progressives always think that foreign policy is a battle of ideologies: a battle between good and bad, in which the course of history will be decided once and for all. But as I see it, Dear Friends, there have been at least four such “last great battles” over the past hundred years. Something is wrong with that concept. Our response should be a clear and simple antithesis to the progressives: the Nation First! Hungary First! America First! We need a foreign policy based on our interests. This is not always easy, because the world of foreign policy is often a complicated one.

Take the war in our neighboring country. Russia is the aggressor, and Ukraine is the victim. We condemn the aggressor and help the victim of aggression. But at the same time, we know that Ukraine is not defending Hungary. That is a nonsensical idea! Hungary can be defended by NATO and the Hungarian Defense Forces. As a proportion of our population, we have taken in the largest number of refugees, and the Hungarian people are happy to help. They are glad to help, but they do not want to pay the price of the war, because it is not their war and they will not benefit from it. They know full well that war is accompanied by sanctions, rampant inflation, and economic stagnation; they know that war always impoverishes people. We must not yield to the siren voices, however tempting they may sound. Our aim is to restore peace, not to continue the war, because that is what is in our national interest. Hungary First!

The fourth point, Dear Friends: we must have our own media. We can only show up the insane ideas of the progressive Left if we have media that helps us to do this. Left-wing opinions only appear to be in the majority when the media helps to amplify them. The root of the problem is that the modern Western media aligns itself with the views of the Left. Reporters were taught at university by people with progressive left-wing views. And as soon as a conservative figure appears in the media, they are criticized, attacked, defamed, and vilified. I am familiar with the old ethos of Western democracy, according to which party politics and the press must be separated. That is how it should be. But, dear Friends, the Democrats in the US, for instance, do not obey such rules. Just try to count how many media outlets are in the service of the Democratic Party: CNN, The New York Times, the list goes on – I could carry on into the night. Naturally, the Grand Old Party, too, has allied media outlets, but they are no match for the liberals’ dominance of the media. My friend Tucker Carlson stands alone and immovable. His show has the highest audience figures. What does this mean? It means that there should be shows like his day and night – or, as you say, 24/7.

Fifth point: expose your opponent’s intentions. As a condition for victory, media support is necessary, but not sufficient. We must also break down taboos. Perhaps I do not need to introduce this to my American friends, because what breaker of taboos is greater than President Donald Trump? But one can always raise the bar: we must not only break down today’s taboos, but also tomorrow’s taboos. Here in Hungary, we expose what the Left is preparing before they even take action.

At first, they will deny it, but success is all the sweeter when it emerges that we were right all along. For instance, there is the issue of LGBTQ propaganda targeting children. This is still a new thing over here, but we have already destroyed it. We brought the issue out into the open and held a referendum on it. The overwhelming majority of Hungarians have rejected this form of sensitization of children. By revealing at an early stage what the Left was preparing for, we forced them on the defensive, and when they attacked our initiative they were eventually forced to admit the reality of their plan. Allow me to quote General Patton again: “A good plan, violently executed now, is better than a perfect plan next week.”

Sixth point: economy, economy, economy. We all know that the Left wants to operate the economy according to abstract notions. This is a trap for the Right. Never fall for it! When we came to power, we decided that we must only pursue economic policies that benefit the majority of voters. Here in Hungary, we have a motto about this: “Even those who did not vote for us end up better off.” In this, we are the polar opposite of the progressives: even those who voted for them end up worse off. In the final analysis, people want jobs: people want jobs, not economic theories. People want to take a step forward in life, and people want a better life for their children than the life they have had. If a government of the right is unable to deliver all this, it is doomed to failure.

Our seventh point: do not get pushed to the extreme. I say this because extreme conspiracy theories rear their heads from time to time on the right – just as extreme utopias regularly rear their heads on the left. If we take a deeper look, we see that in fact, people want neither. But, dear Friends, what is the difference between the denial of science by the extreme right and the denial of biology by LGBTQ movements? The answer is simple: there is no difference whatsoever. We must render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, unto God the things that are God’s, and unto Science the things that are Sciences. We may gain immense popularity on internet forums by promoting conspiracy theories – and indeed sometimes there is truth in them; but in reality, we will alienate a large proportion of the electorate, find ourselves pushed to the margins, and eventually, we will lose.

Eighth point: read every day. A book a day keeps the defeat away. I know that this sounds strange. I am not an academic myself, but the fact is that no invention has yet surpassed the book as a vehicle for understanding and conveying ideas. The world is becoming increasingly complex, and we need to dedicate time to understand it. I, for instance, set aside one whole day every week for reading. Reading also helps us to understand what our opponents think and where their thinking is flawed. If we know that, the rest is mere technique. We must translate all this into the language of everyday action and political communication. It is true that the spin doctor is a useful species, but understanding the problem is something that must be done by us as policymakers.

Ninth point: have faith. A lack of faith is dangerous. If you do not believe that there will be a final reckoning and that you will be held to account for your actions before God, you will think that you can do anything that is in your power. So let us encourage prospective young conservative politicians to engage with faith. Initially, I did not see this as a priority, but I learned that if we devote time to our faith, success will come more easily. I have been a Member of Parliament for thirty-two years, and I am beginning my seventeenth year as Prime Minister. I heed the words of Prophet Isaiah, who said: “If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all.” In politics, Dear Friends, this is the law.

Tenth point: make friends. Our opponents, the progressive liberals, and neo-Marxists have unlimited unity: they have one another’s backs. By contrast, we conservatives are capable of squabbling with one another over the smallest issue. And then we wonder at how our opponents corner us.

We do indeed possess intellectual sophistication, and we care about intellectual nuance. But if we want to succeed in politics, we should never look at what we disagree on, but instead, look for our common ground. I will give an example. The Vatican is one of our most important European allies. It is an ally as a guardian of Christian values, in the support of families, and together we affirm that a father is a man and a mother is a woman. We stand together for peace and for the refugees from Ukraine. But on illegal migration, our thinking diverges. One should not look at the issues on which we can engage in heated disputes but look for ways in which we can work together. Believe me, if we do not, our opponents will hunt us down one by one.

Eleventh point: build communities. My Friends, over the years I have also learned that there is no conservative political success without functioning communities. The fewer communities there are and the lonelier people are, the more voters go to the liberals; and the more communities there are, the more votes we get. It is as simple as that. I do not need to explain this to you: The United States has the world’s best-functioning clubs, societies, and communities. What we need to understand is that a political entity must encompass such communities.

And finally, the twelfth point: build institutions. For successful politics, one needs institutions and institutes. Whether they are think tanks, educational centers, talent workshops, foreign relations institutes, youth organizations, or whatever, they should have a political aspect. Let us not forget: politicians come and go, but institutions stay with us for generations. They, the institutions, have the capacity to renew politics intellectually. New ideas, new thoughts, and new people are needed again and again. If they run out, we will run out of ammunition, and our opponent will show no mercy in laying us low.

Dear Friends,

The whole world is undergoing huge changes. It is strange but true that the destructive ideologies of fascism and communism originated in the West. We never thought that communists could return not only from the East but also from the West. Now we see that the progressives are threatening the whole of Western civilization, and the true danger is not from without but from within.

You, Dear American Friends, are confronted with this in the United States, while we are confronted with it in the European Union. We are dealing with the same people: faceless, ideologically trained bureaucrats sitting in Washington DC and Brussels. Progressive liberals, neo-Marxists intoxicated by the dream of wokeness, those in the pay of George Soros, the advocates of the open society. They want to abolish the Western way of life that you and we love so much: what your parents fought for during World War II and the Cold War, and what we fought for when we drove the Soviet communists out of Hungary.

My Friends,

We must take up the fight, and in this fight, we can only succeed if we are together and organized. We must take back the institutions in Washington and Brussels. We must find friends and allies in one another. We must coordinate the movement of our troops because we face a great challenge. The decisive year will be 2024: you will have presidential and congressional elections, and we will have elections to the European Parliament.

These two locations will define the two fronts in the battle being fought for Western civilization. Today we hold neither of them. Yet we need both. We have two years to prepare. The Hungarian lesson is that we have no silver bullet. We only have work. We need to do it. Let’s go out and do it! Thanks and good luck!

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban won a fourth successive landslide victory

99% of the votes are counted, and it shows right-wing nationalist Viktor Orban`s party Fidesz won 135 of 199 seats. Peter Marki-Zay`s opposition party was far behind with «only» 56 seats. Orban and his supporters are happy, while the EU is crying.

EU doesn`t like Viktor Orban, because they think he is a totalitarian and authoritarian leader. He is also a nationalist who cares about their borders, like many other right-wing politicians. MSM very often lies about Orban and Hungary and turns things upside down.

EU doesn`t have the same worldview as Hungary, and Orban has had a fraught relationship with the EU, which considers that Fidesz has undermined Hungary`s democratic institutions. Orban said in his victory speech that his «huge victory» could be seen «from the Moon, but certainly from Brussels as well».

«Without wanting to sound overly dramatic, it`s a tragedy. Looks like the end of whatever dreams one might have had of democracy in Hungary,» an EU official quoted by Reuters said.

«We`d have to cut money transfers so that he doesn`t build his own oligarchy with our money».

Orban is a self-styled illiberal democrat and does not agree with the EU when it comes to migration and press freedom. Orban and Hungary, like Poland, have many times clashed with Brussels over the rule of law.

During Orban’s campaign, the opposition`s catchphrase was «Orban or Europe». Orban has been in power for 12 years now, and so far he has rewritten the constitution, filled the top courts with his appointees, and changed the electoral system to his advantage.

Orban criticized Brussels bureaucrats and Ukraine`s President Zelenskyy in his victory speech, calling them «opponents». «We never had so many opponents,» Orban said. «Brussels bureaucrats…. the international mainstream media, and the Ukrainian president.»

Orban`s win is a headache to the EU and we can almost feel the pain they are going thru right now. Orban has a good relationship with Vladimir Putin, and he`s the only EU leader to criticize Ukraine`s President Zelenskyy. He has not vetoed any EU sanctions against Moscow, but he didn`t want to give any weapons to Ukraine.

Europe looks at Orban as «Hungary`s Putin». They share many of the same worldviews. We know that Europe has attacked oligarchs in the U.S. Now, they are attacking oligarchs in Russia. The same people claim this system of patronage has given birth to an elite class of wealthy conservative cronies in Hungary. Europe call them Orban`s oligarchs.

World War I and World War II was both ideology wars, and after World War II, the cold war started. President Ronald Reagan succeeded to tear down the wall in Berlin, and you know who the big winner was.

Freedom house funded by the U.S government, claims Hungary is less free than South Africa. That is a big lie. A country that doesn`t have an army or nuclear weapons. Last year, president Biden called Orban a «thug».

Gandhi was also, like Orban, a nationalist. He wanted an independent Indian nation-state and freedom from British colonial rule. Gandhi was fighting for peasant security of tenure and the freedom to produce the crop of their choosing in the Champaran. In 1917, he began the «Champaran Satyagrah.»

Viktor Orban is an outspoken anti-communist after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Now, he is branding himself as a nostalgic nationalist conservative. EU doesn`t like it at all.

Holocaust and the Eugenic movement

27 January marks the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi death camp. Holocaust Memorial Day encourages remembrance in a world scarred by genocide. Six million Jews were murdered, alongside the millions of other people killed under Nazi persecution.

Everybody blames Hitler for all the things that happened during World War II. But, I`m not so sure that is the right thing to do. We see even today that many politicians, PMs, and Presidents are puppets. What if Hitler was a puppet too?

It is very clear to me that someone fed Hitler with a lot of information. That`s exactly what’s going on. We see the puppet on the scene, but not all those that are working behind the scenes. And what about all the people in Germany that voted for him?

We all know that Hitler and the Nazis killed millions of people. In the beginning, they killed people with bullets, but then they used gas. But, wait a minute. There is a very important story here, that almost nobody is talking about; the healthcare system, doctors, and nurses.

After WWI ended in 1918, Germany went through severe economic hardships, and the nation saw the rise of different political factions and ideals. One group that emerged was Adolf Hitler and his National Socialist Party.

There was rampant inflation at that time. There was great poverty, and social disadvantage because of the reparations which had to be paid back after the treaty of Versailles. The money was devalued, and they saw a strong leader that was restoring order.

The Nazi party had an idea about superior race and began a period of racial hygiene laws. The basis for Hitler`s plan of racial hygiene was a concept called EUGENICS, which is the pseudo-science of developing a superior race.

This is what`s interesting to me, because, before Hitler came to power, across the world the whole theory of eugenics was something that many nations already had embraced.

Eugenics is the belief that through selective breeding, whether it`s cows, sheep, or people, through selective breeding positive eugenics is the ability to breed offspring that will carry the best traits. The theory of Eugenics, how people should be allowed to breed, to the benefit of the human race and those who weren`t fit and healthy, should not be allowed to have children.

The propaganda was everywhere, and it`s not surprising that the nurses in the Nazi era got caught up in all this. The propaganda was everywhere. About killing people who were considered «life unworthy of life». «Useless feeders» was the term they used.

The nurses were the ones who held the children while they were being killed. They gave them the overdoses of drugs. They were the ones who put them out on the verandas to die of hypothermia. The nurses were also the ones who withheld the feeding, so the children would die of starvation.

Caught on in England, the United States, Japan, Scandinavia, Germany was NOT at the forefront of this. The Nazis actually learned much of their Eugenics initially from the United States. We also know that Henry Ford supported Hitler with millions of dollars.

Some of these Eugenic health care policies were developed in the United States in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. These U.S policies were emulated by Germany and incorporated into the governing philosophy of applied biology.

There were laws in a book in Virginia that said you could sterilize people. The Nazis took their 1933 sterilization law and mimicked it after the U.S law. There was a time in which there were letters in the U.S journals saying; «Look at the Nazis have gotten ahead of us, we better catch up».

When Hitler came along with his racial theories, he realized that these Eugenics was a really good idea, and he manipulated it to fit his racial theories, all mixed in with the jews, the gypsies, and everybody else who was considered racially inferior.

All of this would lead to an appalling era in world history called Holocaust. A period of persecution and mass murder.

The Holocaust has been defined as the 12 year period, from Hitler`s rise to power in 1933, until the end of the war, in 1945.

It was government planned, government-supported mass extermination or mass killing.

While it was targeted towards the Jewish people, there were many other groups of individuals that suffered during the Holocaust. Hitler convinced the German people that the Jews were their enemy and the cause of their problems. He then created an atmosphere of racial intolerance and hatred of people deemed to be racially inferior.

Every genocide, whether it`s Rowanda or Holocaust, begins with «We» versus «Them».

Hitler used the jews and other people as scapegoats for all that was wrong in Germany. Particularly the economic woes. So, he set up the «We» versus «Them.» He institutionalized that.

In 1933, the Nazi government passed the Nurnberg laws for the protection of hereditary health. This legalized involuntary sterilization. Nazi doctors sterilized 400,000 citizens against their will. «Eugenized» 200,000 disabled German children and adults, and created the gas chambers and crematoria that were used for the mass murder of six million Jews, Poles, and gypsies.

Without the full support of physicians, scientists, and nurses, the Holocaust, as it unfolded, could never have happened.

In the U.S, there were laws that could require that people be sterilized against their will. Sterilization laws were widespread in the U.S. Most notably in Indiana and North Carolina. But other states including California and Virginia, allowed sterilization, even into the 1970s.

In fact, in the early 20th century, the U.S led the world in compulsory sterilizations.

A very famous law was passed in Virginia that said it was okay to sterilize the retarded. It was brought before the Supreme Court, and Chief Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes said; «three generations of imbeciles are enough». He said it was okay to sterilize.

In the U.S, it didn`t go further. But in Germany, it became the leading ideology. Then it was implemented into action.

Hitler promised the German people they were creating the Master Race.

The Master Race would have been the Nazi’s view of a blond, blue-eyed, healthy person, who had no genetic defects and who was pure Aryan.

In the 1920s and 1930s, Germany`s medical community was considered the best in the world.

You weren`t a real doctor in the U.S unless you went to Germany to study, and when you came back and said; «you know, I studied in Germany,»

With all this, it came to some arrogance and some feeling that «we are so superior to everybody else».

Germany was at the forefront. They had the best teaching of anatomy and physiology in medicine. Germany was very advanced, not only in the medical field, but Germany was the best civilization among the European countries.

It was the height of technology, the height of science, and how was it possible that these people

became mass murders?

The majority of nurses were not members of the Nazi Party. However, to have a job in Germany, a nurse had to belong to one of several nursing organizations. There were five organizations for nurses.

Among these, the National Socialist Nurses and the Red Cross Nurses swore an oath of allegiance to Hitler. Additionally, the Protestant Nurses’ organization said that it «greets National Socialism with an open heart.»

Surprisingly, more physicians, percentage-wise, joined the Nazi Party than the population in general. The physicians were probably taken with the fact that we can use our science to improve the human race.

Many physicians and nurses enthusiastically supported the Nazi regime and were involved in all aspects of the Holocaust. About 40% of German physicians were in the Nazi Party while the lawyers and teachers and the other white-collar professions joined in much lesser numbers.

If you didn`t join the Nazi Party, there was no retribution.

Using inflammatory propaganda, Hitler and the Nazis began a campaign against the Jews. Bad things happened to the jews. They were discriminated and Jewish children could no longer go to regular schools.

People cannot keep their jobs at the university, or other professions. Hitler said; «follow me. Never mind God, never mind religion, just follow me. Do what I am asking you to do.»

Since the regime was totalitarian and they were very good at public campaigns and propaganda, and they had enough scientists and physicians that were already marching to the drum.

Propaganda is an extremely powerful way to convince people of their way of thinking.

Germany`s medical establishment began to support the Nazi Party, except for Jewish doctors, who were ostracized.

The official journal of the German Medical Association started to have a swastika on their journal.

They got rid of all the Jewish physicians, authors, people in the office of all the different associations or societies very quick. In five or six years, they got them out of all the academic and professional establishments.

Social Darwinism said;» we need to eliminate this inferior person that was handicapped, that was maybe mentally disturbed. We want a healthy, thriving society. In Germany, the proponents of the Eugenic movement were the most prominent, the most powerful establishment. The legal system became Nazified immediately.

It required lawyers, it required doctors, bureaucrats, and administrators, but many of the nurses were the ones who carried out the injections.

For a long time, the nurses were the agents of the physicians and the physicians of the Nazi period were agents of the State.

That`s very important because physicians were no longer asked to care for patients but to care for the state. The German Volk.

What was good for the state, was not good for an individual patient.

Obedience was still a part of the way nurses were taught, and the way we taught. So, it`s not surprising that the nurses in the Nazi era got caught up in all this.

Euthanasia programs were established in Nazi Germany in which children and adults were killed if they were considered unfit for life and were a burden on the State. The true meaning of euthanasia would be the mercy killing of a person with their permission or their request, however, this was not the case in Nazi Germany. These killings were without consent. They were murders.

In the 1920s, German lawyer Karl Binding and German psychiatrist, Alfred Hoche co-authored the book; «The Permission to Destroy Life Unworthy of Life.» This book greatly influenced Hitler`s thinking about euthanasia.

Everybody had that propaganda thrown at them. It was common. It was everywhere. It espoused the idea that people who were in some way deficient should be killed so they didn`t carry on the defective genes, and so that they weren`t a burden on the State.

Once you accept that humans can be dehumanized, eventually you can engage in exterminating. This was a gradual powerful and unfortunately very effective process in Germany.

The Nazi euthanasia program first started in 1939 as a means to eliminate handicapped children. You have families, who because of all the propaganda are believe that having a child with negative traits is a bad thing. It`s bad for the health of Germany.

They were killing children with disabilities, children with down syndrome, children with cardiac anomalies, children with cerebral palsy, children who didn`t develop normally, who were considered to be «useless feeders.» That was the term used.

Public health nurses would go to the families and promise them, «if you will give your children to us, your child will get the best care,» so people were falsely led to believe that and relinquished their children.

The nurses were involved in the killing of children by giving them overdoses, by taking them outside knowing that it was going to contribute to their death. The nurses killed their own patients.

How could the nurses come to believe that killing was a legitimate part of their caring role which they did? The propaganda around the whole idea of killing people for the good of the State was profound, even down to children doing exercises in their school books on how much it costs to keep people with a disability, for example.

Midwives and physicians were mandated by German law to report any infant born with a birth defect and the infant would be placed in an institution. Mid-wives were paid for each birth that they reported. Mid-wives were licensed.

One dividing point is in Germany the notion that the health of the public is more important than the

health of the individual. So, consequently removing an unhealthy element was seen as good.

In September 1939, a decision was made to develop an adult euthanasia program for patients in psychiatric facilities. Hitler picked the date to coincide with Germany`s invasion of Poland.

To expand it to include adults the only way we`re going to make this acceptable is to say we need these hospital beds for the war wounded. Why should the state pay to keep totally disabled people alive when our young guys who are sent to the front need to come back home and have cared?

The name of this killing organization was T-4. Eventually, six killing centers were established. The medical staff was ordered to fill out questionnaires to evaluate whether their patients should live or die.

Patients were placed in gas chambers that looked like showers. Then lethal carbon monoxide was pumped into the chambers, killing the patients.

You have to justify and rationalize what you`re doing because you`re doing it, but they actually believed it, and they actually believed that what they were doing was saving the Volk from its contamination, from the infection, that there was a disease, and the disease was handicapped and infirm, and that they needed to be cured through killing. Healing through killing.

They were told they were being transferred. The nurses packed their clothes, their lunch, rode with them on the buses. The hospitals, these six, had specially constructed, kinda breezeways that the buses would go through so the patients could be unloaded into the hospitals, without being viewed by the community.

However, it didn`t take long for the communities near these hospitals to realize what was going on. People would see the buses. The buses were unique. They were painted grey and the windows were

painted over and so forth.

Buses would arrive and within a very short period of time, this acrid smoke would be billowing out of the chimneys. Each hospital had an apartment to write condolence letters to the families. And there were mix-ups.

They would write and say, «We`re sorry to tell you your Uncle Hans died of appendicitis, and maybe he`d already had his appendix removed. People were becoming quite knowledgeable about what was going on.

Even children would taunt other children, saying; «they`re going to put you on the grey bus. You`re going to go up the chimney.» As knowledge of the gassing of patients became widespread, the decision was made to end the T-4 «euthanasia» program in August 1941. This, however, did not end the killing of patients.

The children`s euthanasia program continued unabated until the end of the war.

After the T-4 program, physicians were granted permission to provide a merciful death to any person they deemed to be suffering. These killings which took place at many hospitals throughout the Third Reich were known as «wild euthanasia» or decentralized «euthanasia» and were carried out on an individual basis rather than by gas. Patients, usually selected by physicians but killed by nurses, were administered overdoses of sedatives.

More people died in «wild euthanasia» than in T.4. Why did the nurses follow orders to kill? The doctors dictated the killings but the nurses were the ones who did it. Sometimes, the nurses decided to take things into their own hands and kill the patients because they knew they were going to die anyway, so «he was suffering, so I`ll do it now.»

The Nazis invaded Poland in 1939, and polish jews were rounded up into ghettos and later moved to other institutions for medical experiments. A decision was made by the Nazis in January of 1942 at the Wannsee Conference to go further with the Final Solution and move the jews into death camps.

There were four camps that were specifically created as death camps. It was Belzec, Chelmno, Treblinka, and Sobibor. There were two additional concentration camps that developed a killing portion. That would be Majdanek and Auschwitz.

Some skilled workers were kept alive to work in the camps. The infrastructure the know-how and the personnel of the six T-4 centers were actually transferred to Belzec, Sobibor, and Treblinka, and they have been the first gas chambers.

Some of the same doctors and nurses who were involved in the euthanasia program took the gas chambers down and reassembled them in the east in Poland at the concentration camps where doctors were selected at the ramps and were involved in supervising the gassings and killings.

So, physicians were involved in all aspects.

Ravensbruck, located in Germany, was a camp for women. Most of them were Polish. There were some jews there, but most of the women were dissenters or women who had caused trouble to the Nazis when the Nazis occupied Poland.

Ravensbruck was located close to one of the largest and most important hospitals in Germany where a lot of research was going on. Reinhard Heydrich was the Nazi protector of Czechoslovakia, who in 1942 was killed by a bomb. He died from the infection of the wounds that he got.

Hitler demanded that doctors should find a cure for these deadly infections.

Ravensbruck, which was close by, had all these women there that they used as lab rats, basically. The women were operated on by the surgeons from this hospital. They had things like wounds created in their legs that were filled up with sawdust, dirt, ground glass to see what would happen to the wound, how wounds developed, how bone became infected. Some of these women were sent to the gas chambers afterward. They were killed.

Some of the women died of course from the experiments. Some of them survived to give testimony in the trials. But nurses were definitely involved in those experiments.

Many German physicians and nurses participated in medical experiments related to racial hygiene in the concentration camps and hospitals. One of the worst was Dr. Josef Mengele. A member of the S.S.

The jews didn`t know where they were and where they were going, but there were rumors in Hungary for four years after the Nazi occupation, that Jews were going to Germany and being killed. The German pharmaceutical company was very heavily involved in the experiments in Auschwitz.

According to the Auschwitz Museum, at least 1,500 sets of twins were used by Mengele in his experiments. Less than 200 survived.

They were truly monsters. The stuff that happened was horrendous. There is no way, ethical justification for much of what they did under the name of medical science, it was done totally without informed consent.

The people used as lab rats had no choice. They were often killed immediately afterward.

In the sterilization experiments performed at Auschwitz, it was often the nurses who would select and prepare the patients for the experiments.

Then they assisted whatever the physicians needed the nurse assistant to do, and kept it secret from the patients as to what was going to happen. Given false assurance that everything is going to be alright. We`re taking good care of you, they said.

At Dachau, a variety of unethical medical experiments were made using the prisoners as guinea pigs. Some of the cruelties are almost unbelievable. The victims were German, Czech, and Polish. Gypsies who have deprived the food and given only brackish yellow seawater for days resulted in, of course, excruciating pain and foaming at the mouth in most cases. Madness.

They did experimentations where they would keep people in freezing temperatures until they were almost dead. Revive them, and then expose them again. They lowered the temperature, raised the temperature again until they froze, and died.

And then they took them directly to the autopsy table in what they call terminal experiments. And so they did low-pressure studies where they took concentration camp prisoners and put them into specially designed rooms where they sucked out the oxygen. Let in the oxygen until their lungs exploded and they died in terminal experiments.

There were studies of bones and muscle and infectious diseases. They were trying out new antibiotics, so they took concentration camp prisoners and cut open filleted, and infected their legs and wounds to create simulated wounds.

We know that the sterilization program, the mercy killing program, and the unlawful atrocious human experimentation program was masterminded, planned, suggested, and implemented by physicians.

Dr. Josef Mengele was able to escape from Germany after the war and avoided apprehension by authorities. Dr. Josef Mengele was the worst that we never got. Mengele`s family was a very wealthy manufacturer in Bavaria. They managed to hide him until they could get him out.

Dr. Mengele lived in South America until 1979 when he reportedly drowned while swimming at a resort in Brazil.

Finally, in May 1945, the war in Europe ended when the Germans surrendered to the Allies, and the guns were silent. After the war, the Allies conducted the famous Nurenberg Trials, and the world became aware of the atrocities of the Nazi doctors and nurses.

We don`t know the figures of the nurses who were involved, because they were the workforce in these hospitals. Some nurses killed themselves and some were hanged. Under the trial, some of the nurses said; «I thought I was relieving people from their suffering.»

Others said; «These people had no life at all,» or «I needed to keep my job.» Many of the nurses said; «I was just following orders.»

Just following orders was not going to be an acceptable defense to murder or genocide. One of the things that came out of Nurnberg was the notion that everybody is responsible for their own actions.

Not all of the nurses under the Third Reich were compliant with the Nazi ideology. One Austrian SS nurse, Maria Stromberger, showed great compassion toward prisoners at Auschwitz. She heard about what happened in Auschwitz, and couldn`t believe it. «We`re a good and moral people. We wouldn`t do this,» she said.

She helped the victims and smuggled ammunition into the prison camp. Se saved many lives.

Perhaps the most famous of the trials held at Nurnberg before an International Military Tribunal was the so-called «Medical Case» or the «Doctors trial.»

Karl Brandt who was the chief physician of Hitler said; «I did what`s needed to be done. What we did was good», he said. We made German people healthier, he said. So, people were convinced that they were doing something positive in all these atrocities.

23 physicians and scientists were tried for crimes against humanity.

Crimes against humanity was a new concept which was whether it be wartime or not wartime, there are certain things beyond the pale that we are going to hold people accountable. So, genocide was a classic example of a crime against humanity. So, the doctors went on trial.

The prison camps were centers of inhumane experiments, mass murder, and extermination.

Spiegelgrund is still a large, active hospital in Vienna. During the Holocaust, it consisted of a children`s ward, and became infamous for the euthanasia of the children there. The brains of many of these children were saved for years in the basement of Spiegelgrund.

Although current healthcare in the U.S is regarded as among the best in the world. There are elements that should cause us to reflect upon the similarities to German medicine in the 1930s.

It`s important for nurses today to look back to the history and know about it, because unless we know, we can`t stop it from happening again, and it will happen again.

Today, nurses are involved in the legal euthanasia of patients in Belgium, Holland, and Switzerland. Nurses are also involved in executions in countries where the death penalty is legal.

How does any person know what is right from wrong? You have to have a moral compass. If somebody doesn`t have any morals, it`s very difficult for them to understand or judge for their own knowledge what is wrong and what is right.

But if it hurts another human being, it is morally wrong

Those who cannot remember the past, are condemned to repeat it. And that is exactly what is happening. We are dealing with the same issues today and we always need to be alert. We see nurses that are not speaking out about errors about the doctors even today.

After the Holocaust, the motto was; «Never again, never again should Holocaust happen.» Learning about the Holocaust is a very powerful way to learn empathy and compassion. Only by educating people that we must learn to live in peace and harmony with each other, regardless of skin and color or the economic situation.

The question is how did one of the most advanced societies in art, music, theatre, writing, and medicine become mass murders?

It`s easy to believe the Holocaust could never be repeated. The factors leading up to it are not unique to Germany. They are human factors that are present in every country, every culture, and every generation.

If it could happen in one of the most advanced societies in human history, it can happen again anywhere. It`s up to each of us to learn from the past and be ready to interrupt the forces that may try to exploit the few for the benefit of the majority.

We have a similar situation today. Politicians, PMs, and Presidents are speaking to you live on TV. They tell you what to do. But they aren’t experts. In other words; they are told what to say. In other words; we all need to trust experts, like physicians, doctors, nurses, and big pharma.

But today, we have a lot of unwaxed people around the world protesting against Covid-19 restrictions because they are skeptical of the vaccine. What would it be like if everybody in the world said yes to everything the experts say? If people in Germany were more skeptical in the ’30s and ’40s, they would have saved millions of lives.

This story is interesting because Germany at that time in the ’30s was the most advanced society in art, music, theatre, writing, and medicine, so how did they become mass murders? Don`t blame Hitler. And what about all the German people? Did they sleep, or maybe they were silent by fear?

Jesus Christ is officially the King of Poland 75 years after Awschwitz horror

International Holocaust Remembrance Day is an international day on 27 January commemorating the tragedy of the Holocaust that occurred during the Second World War. It commemorates the genocide that resulted in the deaths of 6 million Jews.

But they were not alone. In addition to 6 million Jews, the Nazis killed 11 million others. All this done by the Nazis and its collaborators. On 27 January 1945, Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi concentration and death camp, was liberated by the Russian Red Army. That sounds a bit strange because the Russian Red Army was the Communists.

LIVE BROADCAST OF THE 75TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE LIBERATION OF AUSCHWITZ, January 27, 2020, 15:30 CET

In a second speech at the Yad Vashem World Holocaust Forum last week, where 46 world leaders gathered to mark the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, Putin highlighted the fact that som 40% of the victims of the Holocaust were Soviet-Jews who were murdered in German-occupied Soviet territories.

Resolution 60/7 establishing 27 January as International Holocaust Remembrance Day urges every member nation of the U.N to honor the memory of Holocaust victims, and encourages the development of educational programs about Holocaust history to help prevent future acts of genocide.

It rejects any denial of the Holocaust as an event and condemns all manifestations of religious intolerance, incitement, harassment or violence against persons or communities based on ethnic origion or religious belief.

Resolution 60/7 and the International Holocaust Day was an initiative of the State of Israel. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel Silvan Shalom, was the head of the delegation of Israel to the United Nations.

The essence of the text lies in its twofold approach; one that deals with the memory and remembrance of those who were massacred during the Holocaust, and the other with educating future generations of its horrors.

On 19 January 2008, Ban Ki-Moon said; The International Day in memory of the victims of the Holocaust is thus a day on which we must rassert our commitment to human rights.

We must also go beyond remembrance, and make sure that new generations know this history. We must apply the lessons of the Holocaust to today`s world. And we must do our utmost so that all peoples may enjoy the protection and rights for which the United Nations stands.

6 million Jews were killed, but 11 million others were also killed, but few pay much attention to that. Holocaust Education and Remembrance for Global Justice is a collective action against antisemitism and other forms of bias to ensure respect for the dignity and human rights of all people everywhere.

Birkenau, Auschwitz, Concentration, Camp, Holocaust

This is happening 75 years after the end of World War II, but also in a time were there are so much HATE and so much BIAS around the world. How can you get rid of all the hate and bias if you see the worst of it in the media? Among journalists and politicians. If you have it on top, you`ll have at the bottom.

We see religious intolerance, incitement, harassment and violence against persons or communities based on ethnic origion or religious beliefs every day. But something is about to change. For year, people in the U.S didn`t say Merry Christmas. They said; Happy holiday, but that changed in December last year thanks to Trump. A group of Ant-Christ people have risen for years in the U.S. Is that about to change now?

It is a Conservative trend going on. Not only in the U.S but also in some countries in Europe. Prime Minister Victor Orbàn is a member of the Calvinist Hungarian Reformed Church, while his wife and their five children are Roman Catholics.

Right Wing Viktor Orbàn is a defender of Christianity, and he links the persecution of Christians in other parts of the globe to the increasing hostality towards mainstream Christianity in Europe. A «mysterious force seals the lips,» he asserts, not only of politicians in the West to this persecution, but also of most of those in the media. Is there, in fact, as he also believes, an «organized and wide-ranging attack on European culture and civilization»?

He wonders why so much European countries have been targeted by Islamist attack and why other countries have not been targeted at all. Hungary, the host nation for the second World Conference on Persecuted Christians, and still the only nation in the world to have a specific governmental ministry devoted to the assistance of persecuted Christians everywhere, is regularly attacked by the European elites.

Orbàn said in a speech which should be seen as a clarion call for European renewal, stated that the «key» to Hungary`s survival over the last 1100 years was the adoption of Christianity, meaning of course, Catholicism, by the great Hungarian king St. Stephen. This was a «spiritual rebirth and a true conversion.»

One answer or significant piece of evidence to affirm his contention goes back to deliberate omission from the European Constitution of the foundational place of Christianity in the formation of all that is meant by the term «Europe.»

At the time, St. John Paul, and then his successors, pointed out the grave danger this «forgetfulness» would bring to the future of Europe. Both Popes Benedict XVI and Pope Francis have spoken of the «spiritual vacuum» at the heart of secular Europe; a vacuum will eventually be filled and, as the demographics of Europe shift via massive immigration, what will fill the vacuum will be islam.

The curious marriage between radical Islam and the secular liberalism of the elites in Europe is, at least on the surface, difficult to comprehend, but if Orbàn is correct and it is essentially an attack on European culture and civilization, the ugly union becomes more obvious.

On a spiritual level, secularism and radical Islam hate the cross and the victory it signifies. European civilization and culture is, or was, inescapably a Christian culture, and the hatred for that culture and history is almost a hallmark of the left.

The policies of the Orbàn government is to promote family, Christianity, and authentic Hungarian culture which is so relentlessly condemned by the empty vessels who direct the European Union, which is the most hostile agency in Europe towards orthodox Christianity.

«Citadel of Christian freedom,» is leading the way to save European civilization, Budapest spokesperson said, and Hilaire Belloc so prophetically said; «either Europe will return to the Faith or she will perish.»

Victor Orbàn has in recent years postulated a political and state model; it has constructed a Christian democratic state, and this model works with huge success, he said. The model rests on three pillars: the family, the nation and Christian freedom. He said a family is a union between a man and a woman, adding that every child has the right to a father and a mother. He acknowledged steps Hungary`s government has taken to support families, but said there are still too few children being born.

He said nations are supreme and cannot be forced under the laws of any kind of global government. That is an irreplaceable value which must be defended, he added.

Image result for jesus christ is the king in poland

We can see the same conservative trend in Poland were the Polish Bishops and President Duda declared Jesus Christ King of Poland. In 2016, the Catholic Bishops of Poland in the presence of President Andrzei Duda and many Catholic pilgrims, officially recognized Jesus Christ as the King of Poland and called upon Him to rule over their nation, its people and their political leaders.

«Immortal King of Ages Lord Jesus Christ, our God and Savior,» they declared at the ceremony, «bowing our heads before you, King of the Universe, we acknowledge Thy dominion over Poland, those living in our homeland and throughout the world. Wishing to worship the majesty of Thy power and glory, with great faith and love, we cry out: Rule us, Christ!»

This is similar to what Trump and his administration stands for; God given rights. It is also the opposite of what the godless Communists in China stands for; nothing above the CCP. But the moral leader of the world must be Putin.

«We are no longer a Christian nation», Obama said to Putin a few year ago. Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed with Obama`s assessment in a 2013 keynote speech, criticizing Western countries for having «moved» away from their roots, including Christian values.»

Putin is a supporter of Christian values and stand side by side with the Orthodox Church in Russia. «Policies are being pursued that place on the same level a multichild family and a same-sex partnership, a faith in God and a belief in Satan. This is the path to degradation,» he added.

So, here we are. 75 years after Auschwitz in Poland. A symbol of terror, genocide and the Shoah. Thousands of years after Jesus was killed by dark forces from Rome. A jewish man who tried to build a stable society with his 10 commandments like; (4) “Honor thy father and mother” and (5) “Thou shalt not kill.”

According to Exodus in the Old Testament, God issued his own set of laws (the Ten Commandments) to Moses on Mount Sinai. In Catholicism, the Ten Commandments are considered divine law because God himself revealed them. And because they were spelled out specifically with no room for ambiguity, they`re also positive law. Hence they`re also known as divine positie law.

The Church doesn`t see the Ten Commandments as arbitrary rules and regulations from the man upstairs but as commandments for protection. Obey them and eternal happiness is yours. Disobey them and suffer the consequences.

On Monday 27 January 2020, 15:30 CET, you can see live broadcast of the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz in Poland.
