A church has been forced to remove the word “Jesus” from its Easter signs because it was too offensive to non-Christians

This is unbelievable. A church has been forced to remove the word “Jesus” from its Easter signs, because it has been causing offence. Elim Church on the Central Coast in New South Wales paid for digital signs to be displayed at Erina Fair shopping centre reading “the greatness of His Power!”

Pastor Martin Duffy told 2FB radio that shopping centre manager Lendlease objected to the signs and forced them to be changed to read «Risen Christ» instead of «Jesus». The shopping centre manager requested to withdraw the word “Jesus” from the sign as it may have offended shoppers and non-Christians.

The sign was an advertisement for a free community event being held on the waterfront at Gosford. “The greatness of His Power!” and “Jesus is Alive!” the sign read.

This isnt something new. This Anti-Christ campaign has been going on for decades. In Norway, in the late 80s and early 90`s we saw many churches being burned. One by one. Coincidence? Not at all. This Anti-Christ campaign has been going on for a long time. About 20 years ago there were a war on Christmas and a war on Easter in the U.S.

The Evil elite want Easter banned, claiming that Easter and Jesus is too offensive. This is ridiculous.

Last year, the Church of England accused the National Trust of “airbrushing faith” after it dropped the word “Easter” from the name of the long-standing egg hunt, according to telegraph.co.uk.

The annual event, which sees hundreds of thousands of children search for chocolate eggs at National Trust properties, had previously been called an “Easter Egg Trail,” with the name being changed to the “Great British Egg Hunt” in 2017.

Now, the National Trust has reintroduced Easter to its annual Cadbury`s egg hunt after a public outcry over it removing religious references from the event. Shopping Centre manager Lendlease have also change the mindset.

Last year, furious shoppers have blasted Cadbury’s and Nestle for missing the word Easter off their chocolate eggs, threatening to boycott the brands, but both companies insist there has been no «deliberate decision» to drop the word from their packaging, with Cadbury saying the word Easter is embossed on the actual egg.

When did someone try to stop a little girl wearing a T-shirt with this sign: WTF? There are thousands of similar T-shirts. Do non-christians really care, and how many are they? Do they celebrate Easter? Do they celebrate Christmas?

The new testament states that the resurrection of Jesus, which Easter celebrates, is a foundation of the Christian faith. The resurrection established Jesus as the powerful Son of God, and is cited as proof that God will judge the world in righteousness.

Easter customs vary across the Christian world, and include sunrise services, exclaiming the Paschal greeting, clipping the church, and decorating Easter eggs (symbols of the empty tomb).

Additional customs that have become associated with Easter and are observed by both Christians and some non-Christians include egg hunting, the Easter Bunny, and Easter parades. There are also various traditional Easter foods that vary regionally. So is it with Christmas and holiday season.

Will you celebrate?

In a time of Roman Empire, Nero is determined to rid Rome of Christians, which is similar to what we experience today

Easter is just around the corner. A festival and holiday that is celebrating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, described in the New Testament as having occurred on the third day of his burial after his crucifixion by the Romans at Calvary c 30 AD.

The New Testament states that the resurrection of Jesus, which Easter celebrates, is a foundation of the Christian faith. The resurrection established Jesus as the powerful Son of God, and is cited as proof that God will judge the world in righteousness.

Most Christians refer to the week before Easter as «Holy Week». This time, a new film called Paul, Apostle of Christ will be released the same week. This film is an upcoming American biblical drama film written by Andrew Hyatt, and starring James Faulkner as Saint Paul and Jim Caviezel as Saint Luke. What happened at that time in a time of a Roman Empire, is similar to whats happening today.

Paul, Apostle of Christ is the story of two men. Luke as a friend and physician, risks his life when he venture into the city of Rome to visit Paul, who is held captive in Nero`s darkest, bleakest prison cell.

But Nero is determined to rid Rome of Christians, and does not flinch from executing them in the grisliest ways possible.

Before Paul`s death sentence can be enacted. Luke resolves to write another book, one that details the beginnings of «The Way» and the birth of what will come to be known as the church.

Bound in chains, Paul`s struggle is internal. He has survived so much, floggings, shipwreck, starvation, stoning, hunger and thirst, cold and exposure, yet as he waits for his appointment with death, he is haunted by the shadows of his past misdeeds.

Alone in the dark, he wonders if he has been forgotten…. and if he has the strength to finish well.

Two men struggle against a determined emperor and the frailties of the human spirit in order to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ and spread their message to the world.

Their faith challenged an Empire. Their words changed the world.

It is a war between the good and the bad, and whats make people angry is Lucifer.  Jim Caviezel said in a speech earlier this year that he want Lucifer to go back to hell were he belongs.

Lucifer is a controversial angel who some belive is the most evil living being in the universe. Lucifer (the devil) is a metaphor for evil and deceit, and he leads other demons in hell and works to harm human beings.

As the ultimate liar, Lucifer (whose name changed to Satan after his fall) twists spiritual truth with the goal of leading as many people as possible away from God. Many people say that the fallen angels` work has brought only evil and destructive results in the world.

Paul, Apostle of Christ, In theaters March 23, 2018.

Old Carols are still very popular

It`s christmas-time and what is christmas without good old songs from Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Tony Bennett, Bing Crosby, Dean Martin and Elvis Presley to name a few?

And what are they actually singing? It`s old songs!

The fist known Christmas hymns may be traced to fourth century Rome. Christmas carol is also called a Noel, from the French word meaning «Christmas», and carol is a song or hymn whose lyrics are on the theme of Christmas.

Silent Night (1818)
The words behind Silent Night is Josef Mohr. Music; Franz Xaver Gruber. I assume you have heard the song many times, and the song «Silent Night» was written in 1818. This is one of the world`s most popular Christmas carols and this song comes in several different translations from the German original.

It started out as a poem by the Austrian Catholic priest Father Josef Mohr in 1816. He made the song two years later in 1818. Josef Mohr was curate at the parish church of St Nicola in Oberndorf when he asked Franz Xaver Gruber (organist and local schoolteacher) to make some music to his words of Silent Night.

Silent Night was first performed at midnight mass on Christmas eve 1818 by Mohr and Gruber themselves. The song played a key role in the unofficial truce in the trenches in 1914 because it was one of the only carols that both British and German soldiers knew. The first English translation was in 1871.

Hark! The Herald Angels Sing (1739 or earlier)
Charles Wesley wrote as many as 9,000 hymns and poems, and Hark! The Herald Angels Sing is one of his best known. Charles, (the brother of Methodist founder John Wesley), originally entitled the song Hark How All the Welkin Rings, and Welkin is an old word meaning sky or heaven.

God rest you merry, Gentlemen (Origin unknown)
This is one of the Victorians` favourites and this one is thought to have originated in London in the 16th or 17th centuries before running to several different versions with different tunes all over England.

Christmas carols were mostly a Victorian tradition along with trees, crackers and cards, and songs like The Holly and the Ivy reminds us of more ancient yuletides. Most carols are less than 200 years old, but Christmas was celebrated in song in the Middle Ages.

God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen was first published in 1833 when it appeared in “Christmas Carols Ancient and Modern,” a collection of seasonal carols gathered by William B. Sandys. The lyrics of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen are traditional olde English and are reputed to date back to the 15th century although the author is unknown.
It is believed that this particular carol was sung to the gentry by town watchmen who earned additional money during the Christmas season. God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen continues to be enjoyed. The lyrics to this simple carol are reputed to be one of the oldest carols, and goes like this;

God rest ye merry, gentlemen
Let nothing you dismay
Remember, Christ, our Saviour
Was born on Christmas day
To save us all from Satan’s power
When we were gone astray
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy

In Bethlehem, in Israel,
This blessed Babe was born
And laid within a manger
Upon this blessed morn
The which His Mother Mary
Did nothing take in scorn
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy

From God our Heavenly Father
A blessed Angel came;
And unto certain Shepherds
Brought tidings of the same:
How that in Bethlehem was born
The Son of God by Name.
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy

“Fear not then,” said the Angel,
“Let nothing you affright,
This day is born a Saviour
Of a pure Virgin bright,
To free all those who trust in Him
From Satan’s power and might.”
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy

The shepherds at those tidings
Rejoiced much in mind,
And left their flocks a-feeding
In tempest, storm and wind:
And went to Bethlehem straightway
The Son of God to find.
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy

And when they came to Bethlehem
Where our dear Saviour lay,
They found Him in a manger,
Where oxen feed on hay;
His Mother Mary kneeling down,
Unto the Lord did pray.
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy

Now to the Lord sing praises,
All you within this place,
And with true love and brotherhood
Each other now embrace;
This holy tide of Christmas
All other doth deface.
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy
